	Jason Smith began his martial arts training at Kageyama in 1996, from its beginning. He has attended several tai kai (conventions) in the United States, taught and assisted in seminars within Kageyama and at other dojo, as well as organized and facilitated outdoor training activities and events for the rest of the students. In addition to being the senpai (senior student) of Kageyama Dojo, Jason is a father to two boys, Alex and Weston. He enjoys diving, building, camping and has volunteered with his wife Cindy as a Scout Leader for the Third Toronto Scout Group.

Seiren Dojo

In February of 2003, Jason was the first student of Sensei Greg Tremblay to successfully challenge for the rank of shodan (first-degree black belt). In addition to his regular training and instruction at Kageyama Dojo, he now conducts a shibu (branch dojo) in the town of Innisfil, Ontario (just north of Newmarket and South of Barrie off the 400 Hwy).

Current members of Kageyama Dojo Toronto are invited to train anytime for no additional cost.
