"The main training area consists
of 65 square metres of unobstructed padded floor. It is divided
into two training areas, for safety, by a wooden floor which holds
31 mats firmly in place, each 4 cm. thick. The secondary area, which
is located in the room next to the main dojo, is 21 square metres,
or 14 mats.
The mats are arranged in a rectangular fashion
with a border of red mats surrounding green. The red mats are used
to visually warn students when there is danger of wandering off
the green mats during practice.
Three wooden pillars are situated in the middle
of the dojo, and are used for target practice, climbing and hand
and foot striking and conditioning exercises.
The ceilings are four meters high, allowing students to safely practice
with weapons and throwing techniques."
